Exhibition in the Casino
The Casino is a popular meeting place among students on the FH;P Campus. Events such as parties and cultural events take place here regularly – but only a few really know about it´s history.
The exhibition in the café room of the Casino conveys the history of House 17. It focusses on the drastic transformation of the building – from a stable to a cultural center managed by students.

The FHP Campus builds the center of the Bornstedter Feld, formerly used as a military airfield; it is located in Potsams‘ district of Bornstedt. These premises are characterized by its military background and buildings/barracks
In this audiowalk about the campus, the history and military presence is addressed in the narrative. It is also based on personal communications of witnesses and their experiences at the Campus years before it became our/a University.

About us
We are eight students of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, that are interested in our Campus’ history. As this project was a part of our studies, we have been searching for clues like photographs, documents and witnesses to document it’s military history. Our aim was to create an interactive presentation of our findings through the exhibition and the Audiowalk. We wanted to display the historic grounds of the Kiepenheuerallee and to encourage visitors to start a dialogue about the conversion of former Barracks.
